在雅思听力的Part 1中，租房也一直是一个高频的出题场景。今天就来看看听力考试中，租房场景的一些常见考点。这种题型，首先辨别是租房还是买房。

1.出租

For lease,for rent

rent v.租用，租借

lease v.租用n.租赁;

(房屋或土地的)租约，租契

let n.出租;租借v.许可;准许;

出卖：for sale

房东：landlord/landlady

房客：tenant/lodger/boarder

然后要了解这个房子条件怎么样的。

2.房子类型

公寓flat/apartment

学生宿舍dormitory(dorm)/school residence

学生旅店student hostel

青年旅店youth hostel

还有一种叫留宿当地居民家里homestay.

3.房子位置

郊区suburb(也可表示地铁),countryside,outskirt

离市中心越近，房价越高，位置稍偏，价钱会比较有吸引力;

但便宜的房子一般有不理想的地方：

far from the bus stop,

near the airport,noisy,

a stranger in the next bed,

没有隐私have no privacy,
